Internet monitoring and evaluation is up and running

2008 – the breakthrough year for Internet monitoring and evaluation. Well, that was the industry intention, and TNS Media Intelligence intends to stick to it.

How deep into the Internet do you go? How do you even begin to quantify something so chaotic?

At the moment, most evaluation professionals are still taking articles solely from places on the Internet where people pay for advertising. But TNS Media Intelligence has grasped the nettle to provide clients with meaningful and effective monitoring and evaluation of the Internet in real time.

We are now tracking changes to websites, enabling real-time monitoring of content as it is being updated. This is an important first step in monitoring the social networking phenomenon, as the media world comes to grips with the concept of Influence 2.0 and the complex, fluid and ever-changing nature of the blogosphere.
At last, the subject of monitoring and evaluation of the Internet is being addressed. And it’s still early days for 2008.
